INGENIEROS INDUSTRIALES: ANÁLISIS DE LA EVOLUCIÓN DE TITULADOS UNIVERSITARIOS Y PROFESIONALES COLEGIADOS

Abstract

In 2001, to mark the sesquicentennial of Industrial Engineers, Julio Soler Association from Industrial Engineers of Cantabria published a book with a nominative list of all industrial engineers graduates from each of the schools since the first class graduation in 1850. The enactment of the 15/1999 Law on December 13th for the Protection of Personal Data, has made updating the aforementioned information much more difficult. Fortunately last year, and after many efforts, we were able to get the Ministry of Education to provide us with data on the number of graduates per year and per university after 1999. This Information has been correlated with the number of members who joined the Official College of Industrial Engineers and provides results for serious consideration.
