dc.descriptionEn el año 2001, con motivo del sesquicentenario de los Ingenieros Industriales, la Asociación Julio Soler de Ingenieros Industriales de Cantabria publicó un libro con la relación nominativa de todos los Ingenieros Industriales egresados de cada una de las Escuelas desde la primera promoción egresada en 1850. La promulgación de la Ley Orgánica 15/1999, de 13 de diciembre, de Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal ha dificultado que, tan interesante información, haya sido posible continuar actualizándola. Afortunadamente el pasado año, y no sin tras múltiples gestiones, fuimos capaces de conseguir que el Ministerio de Educación nos aportara los datos del número de egresados, por cada año y universidad con posterioridad a 1999. Una información que, a su vez, hemos correlacionado con el número de colegiados que se han ido incorporando a los Colegios Oficiales de Ingenieros Industriales y que aporta resultados para una profunda reflexión.es_ES
dc.description.abstractIn 2001, to mark the sesquicentennial of Industrial Engineers, Julio Soler Association from Industrial Engineers of Cantabria published a book with a nominative list of all industrial engineers graduates from each of the schools since the first class graduation in 1850. The enactment of the 15/1999 Law on December 13th for the Protection of Personal Data, has made updating the aforementioned information much more difficult. Fortunately last year, and after many efforts, we were able to get the Ministry of Education to provide us with data on the number of graduates per year and per university after 1999. This Information has been correlated with the number of members who joined the Official College of Industrial Engineers and provides results for serious consideration.es_ES
