The handling chemicals in teaching laboratories is common and necessary part regardless of the field of study. Exposure to chemicals is characterized by small and hardly reach the allowable limit value. As a precautionary principle, once you have that exposure can not be eliminated or decreased, the implementation of collective protection measures (fume) is the first preventive action. In a glass case you are required laboratory contaminant drag any operation off gases or vapors. Using the EN 14175-4 a study of the methodology to perform on-site analysis and determine the effectiveness of the extraction system was performed. Fume various chemical laboratories of the University of Alicante by the abovementioned rule were evaluated. The methodology has proved suitable for the study of extraction systems under study. Suction efficiency presenting systems selected for use of corrosive and toxic extraction was determined, and highly toxic substances. There have been proposals for improving the systems studied.
