In this article, they are described the main stages and activities that are carried out for the construction of a tunnel. In particular the different risk situations during construction the East Issuer Tunnel (TEO) they are discussed, the tunnel will have as aim to convey black water on a length of 52 km, a final diameter of 7.5 m and which will require previous construction of 25 shafts ranging from 55 m to 150 m deep.
Due to the magnitude of the project, the inherent risks are innumerable and are present at all times and in all corners of the construction site. Therefore, this research will analyze those activities that represent greater risk to the health and integrity of workers, without underestimate to others works. Also, will be proposed a management in programming, since it is necessary to work simultaneously with different areas of work to meet the established times.
With this study, mention is made of that, certainly such projects involve risks of high category for workers, but at the same time, emphasizes that with proper management, it is possible to minimize these risks.
