The purpose of this study is to establish the status and degree of development reached in a consistent performance in the award of a contest Energy Services for 4 municipalities in the province of Badajoz grouped. This is the first contract awarded in Spain of Energy Services for several municipalities grouped integrally.
This requires a technical specifications which included the renovation of the street lighting with energy efficiency criteria was drafted, the improvement of low voltage installations of public buildings, where they acted on the terminal units, distribution system and production equipment cold and heat, DHW system, lifts, etc.
Competition results threw some investment of nearly € 500,000 in four municipalities in lighting (exterior and interior), implementation of renewable energies and monitoring and remote management systems. The average cost savings initially achieved for each of the township was 22.68%.
