    Abstract
    Design is a field that reflects more complexity when is valued by the surrounding environment. Knowledge about the activity, sensitivity and the existence of an established culture of design has great significance on this fact. In this context, we carried out an study to analyse the perception of Design by potential students of the Engineering Design Degree’s potential students. And we also see the effectiveness of an interactive questionnaire that allow to understand the different features that complete the knowledge of Design. Thus, this paper aims to show the perception of different concepts of design knowledge with high school students in the Basque Country. For this purpose, we carried out an experiment in which 70 students from different schools in the territory respond to different issues related to the the topic.
