Nowadays there are many products around us that have a short life cycle due to the fact that they are needed for little time. PSS approach (Product Service System) promotes the hiring as an option to increase the time of use of a product in order to save costs and material consumption; however there are corporative, regulative and cultural barriers that restrain this tendency. Therefore, it would be interesting to increase the time of use of a product considering both present and future needs since the conceptual design phase. Moreover, it is necessary to show suitably the advantages of this type of products, which avoid buying new products, to the users. This need is especially important in products where there is a lack of previous experience, as in childcare articles. This communication aims to show how to teach the future users the way in which a baby buggy can be used during a longer time and how it can be adapted to present and future situations. To afford this, Design Thinking techniques are applied to develop a storytelling to be exposed to the users. Also, it is shown how to collect the users’ perception through questionnaires and EPOC neuroheadsets.
