IMPACTO DE LA IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE HERRAMIENTAS DE AYUDA A LA DECISIÓN SOBRE LA EFICIENCIA EN LA LOGÍSTICA DE DISTRIBUCIÓN

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of the implementation of decision support systems on the efficiency of the production process at feed mills, more specifically on the production and distribution of concentrates. The analysis will focus on analyzing a given period of time immediately before implementing the decision support system and a period in which the system is fully operational. Kilometers traveled, hours spent and tons distributed in the study period were determined. Then, based on the above variables, a series of ratios will be established, such as distributed tons per kilometer traveled, etc. The production efficiency of the factory, represented by indices as production level, minutes per tonne produced,... are also discussed. Finally, the degree of customer satisfaction with the tool implemented will be analyzed.
