AOPA's experience in the management of roads in Andalusia, and particularly in the application to civil engineering of plant restoration techniques and landscape integration, join to the adoption of numerous laws and regulations, have been highlighted the importance of innovative technical and legal instruments to ensure the success of the works related to the recovery of a linear infrastructure, taking into account the peculiarities of the environment. To try to solve possible problems arising from the processes of environmental assessment, construction and implementation of various linear infrastructure projects, we have conducted a comparative in 18 major roads of Andalusia, trying to establish which of these plant restoration techniques are most effective, what was the percentage of success in the process of restoring the vegetation cover and which are the technical and scientific basis scientific for perfect integration (environmental-cultural-socioeconomic) of these infrastructures in the surrounding environment.
