Facility Management is a discipline that response to the need for planning, both short- and long-term maintenance of infrastructure and support services in the industrial and real estate areas, aligned to plan and strategic objectives of the organization. As indicated Brian Atkin and Adrian Brook (2000) it is "an integrated approach to operate, maintain and adapt the buildings and infrastructure of an organization to create an environment that strongly supports the main objectives of the company approach", whose goal is producing significant savings in the long term. So, to help organizations achieve their strategic objectives come up performance measurement, as indicated Ghalayini and Noble (1996), is used "to assess, monitor and improve business processes". The Key Performance Indicators or KPI’s allow organizations to be able to study their results, in order to identify strengths and weaknesses and thus assess their capacity improvement over time. For these results are correct is important to select suitable KPIs depending on the core business of each organization. In this paper a comparative study on the main technical and economic indicators for performance measurement projects Facility Managment is performed.
