FORMACIÓN EN LA ASIGNATURA "PROYECTOS", APARTADO “PRESUPUESTO”

Abstract

The "Budget" section has a decisive importance in a project document. All technical projects prepared by industrial engineers must contain this section. Therefore it is necessary that the future engineer knows the steps for the elaboration of it and his studies must contribute to achieve this qualification. Thus, in the degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering given in ETSII inside the Polytechnic University of Valencia, the necessary training is taught within the subject "Projects" of the fourth year. The training is structured through a theoretical explanation that includes classroom practice, where the student is able to identify the concepts that are handled. This training is complemented by a computerized practice in two sessions where a real case is solved, using a public database of prices and a market computer program where the budget information is dumped, with its units of work, its unitary prices and decomposed prices. The students form work groups of up to 4 people and among all give solution to the proposed exercise. To finish the training they must supply to their teacher a memo document for evaluation.
