    Abstract
The present article describes an energy system based on a heat pump that can manage the heat energy of the water pool, where the pool water and the house are used as thermal sources (cold source or hot source). The heat flow direction can be changed according to the needs throughout the year. Thus, this work presents all the theoretical grounding for the thermal models of the pool and the house, both coupled to allow the analysis and discussion of the energy balance results and efficiency. Different situations were compared such as the use of an opaque and / or translucent cover, creating a model for both the cooling and heating seasons. Regarding the results, it can be said the system is viable for both the cooling and heating seasons. However, although the results are concise and reasonable, it is necessary to validate this analysis with experimental results because its precision can vary with assumptions made. Besides this comparison, it is also needed to study of the costs associated with the initial investment and maintenance for the consumer.
