Emotional design address the way a product is perceived by the user, and the emotional response that this product will generate on him from his perception. This article addresses the complexity that introduces dealing with perceptions and emotions when the user is a child (3 to 5 years old), since these can differ from those of adults. Moreover, children are still in the phase of emotional learning, so they may not be able to identify and manage completely their emotions.
The problem is analysed in a practical way, through the development of a design project-oriented product for children. To this end the principles of semantic differential will be applied, proposing the elaboration of different questionnaires, focused on children and their parents, and analyses the effectiveness of the resolution of the problem in the project
