Planning Risk Management is a part of project management and planning, and consists of identifying and assessing risks, with sufficient time to propose and facilitate decision-making, as well as to approve and execute the most appropriate actions or plans to eliminate or reduce the criticality of these risks to tolerable levels.
The Risk Management Plan, and adequate knowledge management, is vital to obtain the agreement and support of all stakeholders to ensure that the risk management process is supported and carried out effectively throughout the project life cycle.
An adequate strategy will allow us to implement risk management practices and for this purpose a methodology for risk management will be described, relating it to different processes in project management, integrating it into a holistic model of knowledge management, described in this article.
