The emotional bond or product attachment is a strategy to slow down the replacement of the product and, consequently, to lengthening product life, avoiding psychological obsolescence. Some of the factors that produce attachment in different products are fun, pleasure, external appearance, reliability or the evocation of memories. The growth of waste from small electrical and electronic equipment justifies the interest in applying strategies, such as that of creating attachment with the user, to extend their time of use. This paper provides a first analysis of the presence of attachment factors in small household appliances
