    Resumen
Leonardo da Vinci is known as one of the best painters of all time, although as a result of the rediscovery and study of his great manuscript production he has gained fame in other disciplines such as engineering, urban planning, anatomy, botany or even as a scientist and inventor . It is in the wake of studies published by Charles Ravaisson-Mollien that interest in Leonardo's scientific-technical work begins again. Since then, countless scientists and historians of science have studied many of their different facets and contributed ideas in relation to Leonardo's projective facet. The purpose of this paper is to review the main studies and research published on Leonardo's work, to focus on the works that analyze Leonardo's scientific-technical work, mainly the specific contributions to engineering projects.
