Nowadays, the optimization of production costs and material resources are aspects to be taken into account when designing a product. This allows for a reduction in the environmental impact and cost of the product. Therefore, the product gets an added value. The objective is to implement different eco-design strategies in a height-adjustable she that can compensate for the dysmetry of people who need hydrokinesitherapy treatments. Not only are people given proper accessibility to this treatment but also the product is achieved that respects the environment and sustainable development. The result was very positive, since a reduction in the resources used for the production of the shoe was achieved. Thanks to the correct choice of materials and design, it led to a reduction in the carbon footprint generated and the primary production energy consumption of the product.
