Alineación de la Gobernanza de Proyectos de Tecnologías de Información y la Gobernanza Corporativa en Colombia

Abstract

This research work is based on the results obtained from a technological surveillance study for constructs related to the link between the governance of Information Technology (IT) projects and the corporate governance of organizations. The research has been developed under a qualitative perspective, with an exploratory and descriptive approach, based on the review of the information of scientific articles consulted in the Scopus database, filter processors by subject and years of publication. This research work demonstrates the need to establish a new squeme of alignment of the governance of IT projects with the guidelines and policies of corporate governance because, in general terms, the success rates in the performance of IT projects are low, according to specialized studies in this area. A governance alignment scheme is presented based on a Strategic Alignment Structure (SAS), complemented by the functional integration of corporate governance and IT governance and the operational integration of corporate processes and IT services, which involves leadership, organizational structures and processes that respond to corporate strategies.
