In the design of a project it is important that those who develop it are able to recognize and argue with clear concepts, the efficient application of the implicit principles in the areas of knowledge and professional competencies in project management. In general, the experience shows that the preparation of presentation aids students in learning the essential art of expressing in a coherent, clear, concise and agile way the most relevant conclusions of the project. In this research work the results of applying an assessment instrument, consisting of a series of rubrics, during the final presentation in project course, of the last level of engineering training. These results allow to have indications of the way that students conceptualize and correctly apply the principles of project management. It should be noted the importance of having such an instrument for feedback of the teaching-learning process; since the evaluation instrument has been developed in an ABET accreditation process; it has a component of hetero-evaluation based on question and rubric bank validated by experts and a component of coevaluation in which classmates participate.
