It is clear, the growing interest generated to project using BIM Methodology. In 2005, the BIM Commission, constituted for this purpose, and promoted from the AA PP 2019 as a key year for its final implementation This has generated many companies and professionals to consider a strategy for implementing the BIM Methodology in their organizations and in his professional practice.
On the other hand, from the International Project Management Association (IPMA) and the Project Engineering Association (AEIPRO), Project Engineering professionals, accredited at different levels of training and experience are being encouraged and demanded (A , B, C and D), capable of projecting, planning, and managing projects and portfolios of projects at a highly professional level.
Taking advantage of both capacities and the opportunities that a professional specialization in both fields could suppose for Project Managers. In 2018, from the Project Area of the University of Jaén, he undertakes the task of organizing the first BIM-DGP University Master's Degree, of these characteristics that is taught in our national territory.
This communication intends to perform SWOT analysis and balance the results obtained, with this innovative methodological experience
