In Mexico City, is being carried out the construction of a tunnel of 62 km, for this purpose, self-propelled machines are used for excavation and these machines have the ability to go by placing the elements of prefabricated concrete that integrate the primary support.
For the manufacture of concrete elements, three plants were builded, which can be classified as industrialized labor centers due they have mechanized production systems. In this sense, the workers receive training geared specifically to their activity that develop within the plant, but these plants are only provisionally, they will only work as it is required to produce the elements of concrete forming part of the tunnel.
Since the project for the construction of the tunnel, includes the three precast plants, makes it part of the inertia and ways of working in the construction sector, and thus, the deficiencies in the area of occupational risk prevention. For this reason, with this research aims to analyze the conditions under which work in these workplaces and propose measures for the improvement of safety at work.
