The educational proposal that is exposed in this communication corresponds to an obligatory subject of the Degree of Administration and Direction of Companies (Faculty of ADE) and is framed in the programs of educational innovation promoted by the UPV (PACE). It is teached in the first course with 6+6 credits and it is differential regarding the same degree in other educational centers.
This will allow students to obtain a complete view of the business sector in the Comunidad Valenciana, which is mostly composed of small and medium industries from the four business groups analyzed, to understand the relative importance of those enterprises in the national and the global market, and finally, to acquire knowledge of the basic technological working of the most representative subsectors within these framework.
Since it is a subject of broad and general knowledge, and besides the students are faced for the first time with the University, an effort in the teaching organization of this subject has been carried out so that it results attractive and, at the same time, promotes an active participation of assistants following a Projects methodology.
