This paper shows the procedure to be followed for the design of the prototype industrial scale, a pretreatment device for food additive. The design of this product, has as its starting point the laboratory prototype developed and tested. To carry out the transformation, the product has been divided into various subsystems analyzed, which are integrated into two systems, without losing sight of the possible interrelationships of those elements. In the design of the different subsystems, have been taken into consideration the findings from tests with laboratory-scale prototype to optimize the functionality of the industrial prototype. At the same time, the scaling changes have been made arising from the design requirements for industrial-scale prototype, mainly conditioned by the dimensions and materials of the same. It shows the equivalence of the subsystems, on different scales, through a series of arguments and images.
