    Abstract
The operation of silage corn harvest is probably one of the operations which requires more planning efforts to technicals at the agricultural cooperatives of the Spanish Northwest. The origin of this need are many factors, among others, the limited harvest time, because we have a crop rotation, adverse weather conditions in many cases that difficult the trafficability. In order to optimize the cycle we must optimized the route followed by the combine for the harvest of plots in order to lose the least time as possible in movements between fields. The objective is that the cycle of harvest has a minimal cost. This cycle will be conditioned primarily by the activity of the combine and the trucks linked to it. In this paper we will analyze which should be the number of trucks linked to the combine, depending on the ability to combine work and distance to the silo of the farmer, so that the total cost of the harvesting operation is least. The results are compared with what happened in the silage corn harvest season. Keywords: Harvest cycle, Forage harvester, Works scheduling
