EL HAMBRE, UN PROBLEMA DE MILLONES NO DE MILES. CAPACIDADES,PROCESOS DE APRENDIZAJE Y SCALING-UP
Resumen
This Communication focus the attention in the fact that development projects (anti-hunger ones particularly) have not obtain the main goals proposed. There are many different reasons of these negative results, but development approaches based in traditional project cycle or blueprints approaches have an important responsibility.
In order to find solutions this text starts summarising some principles based in learning, capacity building aspects, and process issues. It also gives importance to a continuing
reflection and analyzing process, looking for gradual fit requirements between actors, and an essential change of attitudes over beneficiaries.
There is not a problem of thousands but is a millions one. For this reason is crucial to know what is working in food security programmes and how to increase their socioeconomic positive impact over as much people as possible in efficiency, fast and sustainable way (Scaling-up). This communication presents some recommendations to obtain this important objective.
