EL MANUAL FIM. UN INSTRUMENTO PARA PROYECTOS DE ASISTENCIA TÉCNICA INTEGRAL A PyMEs
Resumen
The increasing complexity in which the companies are involved makes necessary that they develop aptitudes to improve its competitiveness up to coming to the "Excellence" and confronting with guarantees the new challenges.
The notion of Excellence in the organizations integrates the notion of "Total Quality" and, nowadays, also the concepts of "Corporate Social Responsibility" and "Sustainability". This evolution of the notion Excellence more wide and integrated expresses in models of business excellence as the "Model EFQM" (of the European Foundation for Quality Management), or the model of the "Malcolm Baldrige Award" (Baldrige National Quality Program. These models allow building milestones and phases of development to carry out projects of competitive improvement of the companies.
In this article we present the "Manual FIM", coherent with the mentioned models, that serves as instrument to measure the capacity of management of the quality and the productivity of the SMEs, (PYME for its initials in Spanish). Its methodology distinguished for the PYME of Venezuela, allows the unfolding of "Projects of technical integral assistance" SMEs that involve a complex and changeable environment. Also we presents a proposal to adapt the "Manual FIM" to the new requirements of the "CSR” and of Sustainability of the production.
