This paper is based on the exhaustive revision of existing tools for the multizonal modelling of atmospheric pollutants. The study of the behaviour of spatial data of different kind of pollutants in the air needs a special analysis, reason why is presented into this work a proposal of methodology directed to the modelling of pollutants using geostatistical tools that have shown their capacity to predict effectively the highest concentrations of atmospheric pollutants at punctual geographical locations relatively far away of monitor stations.
Keywords: prediction model, geostatistical, artificial intelligence, air pollutants, kriging.
