| dc.description | El trabajo que aquí se presenta esta basado en la revisión exhaustiva de herramientas existentes para el modelizado multizonal de contaminantes atmosféricos. El estudio del comportamiento de los datos espaciales de contaminantes presentes en el aire necesitan un análisis especial, por lo que se presenta una propuesta de metodología encaminada a la modelización de los mismos utilizando herramientas geoestadísticas que han mostrado su capacidad de predecir de manera eficaz las concentraciones máximas de contaminantes atmosféricos en una ubicación geográfica puntual y relativamente alejada de monitores. | dc.description.abstract | This paper is based on the exhaustive revision of existing tools for the multizonal modelling of atmospheric pollutants. The study of the behaviour of spatial data of different kind of pollutants in the air needs a special analysis, reason why is presented into this work a proposal of methodology directed to the modelling of pollutants using geostatistical tools that have shown their capacity to predict effectively the highest concentrations of atmospheric pollutants at punctual geographical locations relatively far away of monitor stations.
