APRENDIZAJE BASADO EN PROYECTOS Y CREACIÓN DE NUEVAS EMPRESAS
Resumen
Traditionally, academics use either case method learning and analysis of readings to give their chairs related to entrepreneurship. In order to go beyond this model and to endow our students with existential experiences in new venture creation, the Tecnológico de Monterrey, has incorporated as a didactic technique the Project-Based Learning in their Leadership for the Enterprising Development courses. The Project-Based Learning incorporates in turn, the method of the Problem-based learning, cooperative learning, case method and project management theory. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the benefits of this didactic technique in the course of Leadership for the Enterprising Development, particularly in the development of a business plan. The students work throughout 18 weeks with a business concept, in order to finally elaborate a complete business plan. The results of a survey demonstrate that 83 % of the students retained their learning in relation to the content and core elements of a business plan.
