DISEÑO DE EDIFICACIÓN E INSTALACIONES PARA LAS DISTINTAS FASES DE UNA CENTRAL HORTOFRUTÍCOLA EN LA PROVINCIA DE VALENCIA

Abstract

The article presents the evolution of the facilities of a family business, dedicated to grapefruit making, in a municipality of the province of Valencia. In a first phase, the relocation and expansion was carried out from its original location, within the town centre of the municipality, to the nearest industrial estate. At present and after two subsequent enlargements, it has an area of 6,680 m2 and a potential production of 20,000 t/year. The presentation includes the different solutions adopted to adapt the layout of the plant to the needs and surfaces available throughout the successive developments of the industry. It also presents both the original structural solutions used and the approach adopted for the main auxiliary installations.
