LA CONTRATACIÓN PÚBLICA DE SERVICIOS DE INGENIERÍA Y ARQUITECTURA. MODIFICACIONES INTRODUCIDAS POR LA LEY 9/2017

Abstract

Spanish Law 9/2017 on Public Sector Contracts (LCSP) was published in the Official State Gazette on November 9,2017 and will enter into force on March 9,2018, repealing the Consolidated Text of the Public Sector Contracts Law (TRLCSP) approved by Royal Legislative Decree 3/2011, of November 14. The new LCSP transposes the European Directives 2014/23/EU and 2014/24/EU of 26 February on the award of concession contracts and on public procurement. This law develops the European regulations after more than a year and a half of delay over the established deadline (18 April 2016) and after an extensive adjustment of the normative text after the negotiation of 975 amendments. This communication describes the requirements for public procurement of engineering and architectural services, indicating the main changes introduced by Law 9/2017 on public sector contracts.
