IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UNA OFICINA DE GESTIÓN DE PROYECTOS. ESTUDIO DE CASO EN EL SECTOR DE EXPLOTACIÓN DE MINAS EN COLOMBIA

Abstract

This communication illustrates the process of implementing a project management office of a company's mining sector in Colombia. We present the process that has been followed since the decision of the application until the results that have been obtained as a result of the operation of the office. It is intended that the experience can be useful for implementation in other companies, other sectors, or in training. In order to develop the research has been used project type that allow visualize how the office supports implementation and monitoring processes. The results have allowed establish the benefits of organizational change towards a culture projectized and demonstrate that you can perform better control of the project with the standardization of management procedures that is responsible for the office.
