CONSIDERACIONES SOBRE HERRAMIENTAS DE APOYO PARA LA PLANIFICACIÓN Y GESTIÓN DE PROYECTOS ORIENTADAS A PYMES

Abstract

Approximately 20 millions of SMBs are located in the European Union, but its competitiveness are affected by multiple factors from the limited access to finance to a lack of strategic management in which becomes especially important the absence to adopt appropriate tools for professional management of their projects. Entitled "Project Management Software" is included computer programs currently on the market as key support tools for planning and project management. It is vital for the survival of SMEs to use selection criteria for such tools that satisfy current needs of companies to an appropriate cost. We will analyze the current trends that progress to solutions that provide the interface between programming, costs and resources, and they do from the perspective of overall control and the web-based software. The previous considerations that are made will help to developing comparatives that help to choose the tool that best fits to the characteristics of the company, where SMEs can choose alternatives to their size and budget, even being able to adopt solutions without cots, reaching the advantages of professional project management.
