The labour market increasingly demands professional profiles where transversal competences such as relationship skills, communication, teamwork and negotiation are more important along with traditional technical and managerial skills. In this article are presented the results of a teaching innovation project of the University of León, whose main objective was to strengthen transversal skills through the development of micro-projects in a multidisciplinary environment. The project involved students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, from the Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering and from the Degree in Biology. It has been seen in all three subjects participating in this pilot project which harmonizes the paradigm shift learning processes with the nature of the knowledge areas in question, provoking closest scenarios to the real situations in which projects should address students complete their training once they develop.
