PROPUESTA DE REHABILITACIÓN ENERGÉTICA COMPATIBLE CON LOS VALORES CULTURALES EN ARQUITECTURA HISTÓRICA: EL PALACIO DEL MARQUÉS DE CASA-TILLY, EN CARTAGENA
Abstract
New energy policies ensure a significant reduction in power consumption of the housing stock and emissions of greenhouse gasses to the atmosphere. However, RD 235/2013, April 5th, by which basic procedure for the certification of the energy performance of buildings, as well as the different regional laws that implement it do not have mandatory compliance in protected buildings, as in the case of Monuments. Therefore, a great opportunity of energy rehabilitation is lost because of those buildings are not included in this kind of control, buildings which usually need to be conserved, restore and/or rehabilitated periodically but in whose interventions are not considered necessary improvements for their best possible energy rating.
In this research work consists on the energy analysis of the former Palace of the Marquis of Casa-Tilly, one XVIIIth century building in Cartagena, and the study and assessment about the possible improvement measures to develop its energy rehabilitation. The objective is to set the optimum situation where its energy qualification is the best possible through interventions which are suitable and compatible with the protection and conservation of the historic, architectural and cultural values that the building possesses.
