| dc.description | El uso de fibra óptica mediante las técnicas de DTS permite su uso como sensor para la caracterización de las temperaturas en el entorno circundante al cable de fibra óptica. En el presente trabajo se analizan las posibilidades y condiciones de aplicación de dicha herramienta para la caracterización contaminantes en el agua. Para ello se recurre a las diferentes características de propagación del calor mediante procesos de conducción o convección en función de la composición del agua. Los resultados muestran la capacidad de la técnica para servir al objetivo perseguido siempre y cuando se controle el ruido inherente al sistema de medida. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Using the fiber optic through DTS techniques allows characterizing temperature around the fiber optic line. In this paper the alternatives to use this methodology to study pollutants in the water are analyzed. The different thermal behavior of the water according to its composition can be analyzed through heat convection or conduction processes. The theoretic results show that the aforementioned methodology is capable of measuring water pollutant composition according to some restrictions provided that the noise of distributed temperature measurements is controlled. | es_ES |
