DISEÑO DE UN DISPOSITIVO MODULAR DE RECOGIDA DE RESIDUOS SÓLIDOS DOMÉSTICOS

Abstract

One of the main problems that recycling of domestic inorganic materials present is the high percentage of improper, or unsolicited, materials existing in the recycling bins. With the aim of decreasing this percentage, public administrations have developed different awareness campaigns for citizens; however, these measures had not brought the expected success. In this scenario, the geometrical design and modelling of a modular device for waste selection has been raised, being this device oriented towards the requirements of each final user at the domestic generation point, in such a way that it facilitates the sequential reply of the recycling action and avoids the presence of unsolicited materials in a not suitable bin.
