    Abstract
Environmental awareness of consumers along with the concern about the environmental impact of their purchasing behaviour, are nowadays remarkable in the society. Ecodesign is one of the most common methodologies to reduce the environmental impacts of products throughout their life cycle, where both the attitude of consumers and their environmental values have a great influence. On the other hand, Kansei Engineering is a useful tool to translate the customer's psychological feelings and needs into the domain of product design to develop goods with greater acceptance and satisfaction for users. Thus, the integration of Eco-design and Kansei Engineering enables the design of new products with benefits of both perspectives, providing goods with less impacts to the environment and being more accepted by users as these products match with their environmental values. Considering the relevance of the integration of both approaches into product design, this paper reviews the literature about studies on Eco-kansei, which integrates Ecodesign and Kansei Engineering, providing an overview of methodologies and tools used in this area as well as trends and case studies.
