Every project needs to be managed through the planning, implementation and control of its temporal phases, so that both their viability as optimizing the number of resources are used is ensured. The applicable methodology is well known, and among global knowledge are contrasted different management models based on conventional risk indicators: range, price and delivery.
It aims to expose the existence of a significant percentage of projects where traditional models for managing risks are not self-executing, due to the intervention of determining or absolute factors, capable of causing a final project where the loss is absolute or not apply a linear relationship between resources and time.
As a case study will include a municipal work with environmental implications, the analysis can be extrapolated to risk projects with environmental impact, risk to biodiversity or those where the damage would impede the continuity of the system to be managed.
Finally exposed as part of a doctoral thesis in progress, the proposal of a new system based on a tetrahedron risk management: Quality, Cost, Time and Survival.
