    Abstract
    Strategic planning is becoming an essential process in managing large organizations. The implementation of this process in recent years being an innovation in the public sector, becoming a ubiquitous standard practice in most governments and organizations. The design and development of this process called Lugnasa, which requires an effort of both the selection of appropriate and the will of those responsible for implementing them to reach the needs of the development of the strategic plan methods. This work is developed in order to generate and validate a methodology for obtaining strategic information at low cost and high quality to support the planning process of the food industry sector in Galicia, characterized by having a great diversity of industrial areas having particular importance for the economy of the region.
