| dc.description | En un contexto de crisis social y económica, con una elevada tasa de fracaso en los proyectos y creciente complejidad técnica, es necesario establecer las máximas garantías en las etapas tempranas de los mismos, a partir del establecimiento de prácticas que, orientadas a objetivos, intervengan en los factores que procuran rendimiento en la gestión, alineándose con la estrategia, como camino hacia el éxito. La presente comunicación propone el uso de dos herramientas predictivas para la planificación y control de los proyectos de construcción, por su significancia precursora y naturaleza global: el índice del grado de definición del proyecto (PDRI) y el valor ganado (EV). El PDRI mide el desarrollo del alcance de los proyectos, mediante la revisión del estado de sus elementos, identificando y describiendo los ítems críticos de su definición, estandarizando su evaluación e incrementando la madurez de las organizaciones que los emprenden. El EV suministra un indicador confiable e independiente del avance y progreso de los proyectos, que permite un análisis de sus costes y plazos, mediante el cálculo de variaciones, indicadores de rendimiento y proyecciones futuras, posibilitando una pronta identificación de problemas y permitiendo una rápida toma de decisiones mediante el emprendimiento de acciones preventivas y/o correctivas. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | In a context of social and economic crisis, with a high failure rate in projects and an increasing technical complexity, it is necessary to establish the maximum guarantees in the earliest project stages, establishing objectives-oriented practices that involve management performance factors, aligning them with strategy, as a path to success. This paper proposes the use of two predictive tools for planning and control in construction projects, due to its prognosticative significance and globalizing nature: Project Definition Rating Index (PDRI) and Earned Value (EV). PDRI measures projects scope development by reviewing the status of their components, identifying and describing the most critical items of their definitions, standardizing their evaluations and increasing the maturity of organizations that manage them. EV provides a reliable and independent indicator of development and progress of projects, which allows an analysis of their budgets and schedules, using calculus of variations, performance indicators and future forecasts, enabling anticipated identification of problems and quick decision-making by undertaking preventive and/or corrective actions. | es_ES |
