This article presents the design and introduction of a new methodology for teaching the module of Engineering Projects. This methodology sets out the new learning system. Application of system allows for more consolidated and faster learning for students, as well as the acquisition of new skills when resolving problems posed. This study describes the six-year experience of this new methodology having been applied in the modules ‘Projects’, ‘Projects/Technical Office’ and ‘Technical Office’ taught as part of Industrial Technical Engineering qualifications, Industrial Engineering degree courses and the School of Industrial Engineering at the University of Valladolid. All the results obtained from the student and teacher experiences have been studied and analysed. This new methodology presents some broadly satisfactory results in the learning and acquisition of skills and requires appropriate teacher planning and student monitoring.
