LIBRO DEL PROYECTO: HERRAMIENTA DE SEGUIMIENTO Y CONTROL EN INTERVENCIONES DE COOPERACIÓN INTERNACIONAL PARA EL DESARROLLO

Abstract

The paper’s aim is to present a tool for monitoring and control of projects implemented in international development cooperation. It aims to establish a support tool, since this area uses the project as a vehicle to implement actions and requires a process adapted to the current needs of the sector. We analysed the methodologies traditionally used to evaluate this type of interventions, which show a lack of unified criteria, hence making its management difficult. The research tries to fill current gaps in project management in international development cooperation, with a proposed free use, and under the guidelines of the discipline and of modern management. The results obtained after the exploratory study, which collected information managed by the stakeholders, show how the Project Book includes terms that allow monitoring and control assessments, helping to improve and enhance the performance of projects. The intention is to provide accountability in these proceedings, specifically when several agents interact, thus improving the quality of aid.
