Some rural buildings haven’t usually significant artistic value, but many of them are a clear example of a proprietary architecture. In this sense the studies on the popular architectural heritage should not only include a review of documentation and potential reuse also should focus on deeper analysis taking into account the intangible aspects involved in the restoration of a building, such as a socio-economic study, as well as the impact on the quality of the landscape where the building is located. These complex systems present a great challenge, and designing more sustainable alternatives is a must. From the point of view of his rehabilitation, and always supported sustainability abstracts feel, considering this term as socially desirable, economically viable and environmentally prudent, we have identified a number of valid assessment of rehabilitation potential in the project intervention and documentation of this heritage, to quantify different characteristics of the building and its environment, capable of being quantified indicators, with some flexibility and prioritization, well as highlights the strength and validity of the methodology.
