DESVIACIÓN EN LA PRODUCCIÓN ENERGÉTICA DE UNA INSTALACIÓN SOLAR TÉRMICA DEBIDA A SIMPLIFICACIONES ADOPTADAS EN SUS PARÁMETROS DE DISEÑO
Resumen
Mandatory installation of lower-temperature solar thermal power plants in building projects should motivate an increasing accuracy during the design stage that should be proportional to its deployment. However, it is still common to find designers that, during the design phase, submit calculations to important simplifications that, however, undermine the real performance of the installation and thus undermine the interests of those consumers who paid the service as well. This paper summarizes the results of calculating the energy production of a solar thermal power plant using the same simulation software in two different scenarios, one in which part of its design parameters are simplified and a second scenario, identical to the previous one except for the aforementioned design parameters, which are not simplified. The difference between both outcomes evidences the need to improve design methods, using accurate and impartial simulation software, requiring stringent designers with their calculations, avoiding simplifications that distort the energy performance of the power plants and jeopardize the interests of both, project promoter and users.
