In the current scenario of manufacturing, known as Industry 4.0, companies are integrating new development strategies to deepen the activity linked to innovation. The industry 4.0 describes a reality with a higher degree of complexity, where cyber-physical systems connected to the devices in the manufacturing system. This paper studies the current situation in the machine tool industry in Gipuzkoa, analyzed from the perspective of human-machine interaction and the user experience. The analysis is based on the results obtained through online surveys of manufacturers of Gipuzkoa.
