LOS PRINCIPIOS DE LA ECONOMÍA CIRCULAR EN LA INGENIERÍA DE PRODUCTO
Resumen
Circular economy is defined as the one that aims to produce goods and services while reducing the consumption of raw materials, water and energy. It is therefore an economic concept which seeks to implement a new economy - not a linear one, based on the principle of "closing the life cycle" of products, services, waste, materials, water and energy. A circular economy has important implications for the management of product engineering, which is enriched with principles such as extended producer responsibility or ecodesign. New design strategies, such as design for reuse, recycling, remanufacturing or renovation and modernization of the product have to be taken into account from the early stages of design. This concept allows to extend the life cycle of the product, at the same time creating new jobs and businesses associated with the recovery of the product as a whole, component parts, materials and raw materials, inserting all new in circular concept of the activity associated with product engineering.
