    Resumen
    Product-Service Systems represent a proposal to contribute to sustainability in certain economic activities. Its starting point is based on the existence of several cases in which it is possible fulfill a need by a service instead of purchasing an object. In the present work, different approaches of “Product-Service System” concept, its appearance in the late nineties, its evolution during the last years, goals to achieve, typologies, benefits and problems that make difficult its implementation are analyzed. For that purpose four real experiences of Product-Service System establishment are given and analyzed, detecting the problems that have arisen and evaluating its impact and contribution to sustainability in each economic cycle.
