From engineering the point of view, environment means those that affect and condition in the short or long term to every living human being. This includes the natural, social and cultural values in the study area. There are different standard methods to evaluate environmental impacts, however frequently focused on the "natural" valuation, leaving aside the "social" and especially the "cultural” valuation. In this communication we describe a new methodology developed for evaluating these (social and cultural) civil engineering impacts. The methodology is based on the use of indicators, together with the definition of multicriteria coefficients and aggregation equations. Results in each engineering project numerical coefficients for each alternative evaluated. Also, as a aditional result, this metodology returns a “to-do” list with the minimization and correction actions to improve, as well as its magnitude.
