DETECCIÓN DE TENDENCIAS TEMÁTICAS EN LA INVESTIGACIÓN SOBRE DIRECCION Y GESTIÓN DE PROYECTOS

Abstract

Project Management (Project Management, PM) is an evolving discipline, which continues to provide new strategies and methodologies. For this reason, more and more research lines born around this subject in order to define better its limits, implementation and strategies. But what thematic areas have been the most studied? which have now further development? and which are being relegated? To answer these questions in the Project Management Master of the University of Santiago de Compostela, we proceeded to perform a Master's thesis. At the same, we have analyzed published studies in indexed journals at the Journal Citation Reports® of (JCR) work. By a computer program developed specifically for this work, we proceeded to the systematic identification in these articles of concepts which appears in glossaries of terms of reference. By methods of social network analysis, we proceeded to evaluate the importance of each term in the context of research in project management. The results point to the identification of both generic elements, such as new methodologies, or organizational approaches.
